Luke Roggenkamp Obituary
Luke Henry Roggenkamp was born on June 10, 1974 in Portland, Oregon to Allan and Jeanne (Frost) Roggenkamp. Luke graduated from the New York Mills High School with the class of 1992. After high school Luke was employed with his father, Allan working with heavy equipment.
On July 27, 1996. Luke was united in marriage with Tina Mae Oberg at St. John The Catholic Baptist Church in Bluffton, Minnesota. Their marriage was blessed with three children: DJ, Levi and Quentin.
Since 2013 Luke has been a heavy equipment operator with the International Union of Operating Engineers, Local 49 in Minneapolis. He was employed with local contractors, Kern & Tabery, Rachel, Minnesota Pipeline and currently Park Construction.
Luke enjoyed riding his Harley-Davidson, hunting, fishing, riding dirt bike and four wheeler.
On November 6, 2023. Luke passed away peacefully in Hillsboro, North Dakota at 49 years of age. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends. Preceding Luke in death was his son, Levi Cole Roggenkamp, grandparents: Ludwig "Louie" and Eleanor "Ellie" Roggenkamp, Clarence "Peaney" Delores (Brasel) Frost; niece, Angel Conn; nephews, Joey Weeks, Mark Weeks, Jr. and Lawrence "LJ" Oberg III; great-niece, Arabella Oberg; father-in-law, Lawrence Joseph Oberg.
Luke is survived by his wife, Tina Roggenkamp; sons: DJ (Emily) Roggenkamp and Quentin Roggenkamp; parents, Allan and Jeanne Roggenkamp; grandchild, Octavia Roggenkamp; mother-in-law, Rosemary Oberg; brothers: Travis (Dawn) Roggenkamp, Leland "Lee" (Emily) Roggenkamp and Ludwig "Louie" (Erin) Roggenkamp; sisters: Sarah (Nathan) Riedel and Molly (Andrew) Costin; many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and a host of friends.
In Lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the Ronald McDonald House, LifeSource, and Make-A-Wish.
