He was predeceased by: his parents, Andrew Olerud and Bertha Olerud (Hagen); his wife Betty Olerud; and his siblings, June Olerud and Art Olerud.
He is survived by: his siblings, Anne Nelson, Bertha Stangland and Nick Olerud (Carol); and his son Scott Ebersole (Susan).
