With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Edwin A. Ehlers of Hillsboro, North Dakota, born in Alton, Illinois, who passed away on July 25, 2021 at the age of 71. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Ehlers and Mary Ehlers (Richardson); his brothers, David Ehlers and Jesse Ehlers; and his siblings-in-law, Irene Ehlers and Mark Spraggs.
He is survived by: his children, Anne Whitehead-Bailey (Robert) of Hillsboro, ND and Edwin Ehlers (Angela) of Cannon Falls, MN; his grandchildren, Christian James Patten (Yan Zhou Chen), Alexis Marie Whitehead, Atreyu Plendl, Baylee Robin Whitehead, Kayla Marie Lewis, Connor West Lewis, Thomas Charles Ehlers, Danni Marie Ehlers and Deanna Elizabeth Bailey; and his siblings, Charles Ehlers (Charlotte), Mary Scates (Harold), Opal Swarringin (David), Brenda Spraggs, Robert Ehlers (Sena), Susan Wood, Sadie Helgen (Greg), Gina Williams (Brian) and Catherine Crabtree (Warren). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
