She was predeceased by: her parents, Ruth Crotty (Doeden) and Robert Crotty; her niece Stephanie Crotty; and her brother-in-law Vance Smelden. She is survived by: her sons, Eric Straus (Erin) of West Fargo, Joe Straus (Alisa) of Horace and Josh Riendeau (Shenay) of Hillsboro; her grandchildren, Ava, Audra and Alec Straus of Horace; and her siblings, Joyce Smelden, Ed Crotty (Rose) and Jim Crotty.
