He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Nysveen and Mina Nysveen (Waslien); his siblings, Jerome, Myron and Pat Woods (Orella); his siblings-in-law, Robert Woods and Aagot Nysveen; his nephews, Shawn Nysveen and Richard Woods; and his cousin Irene Waslien Stemmer.
He is survived by: his friends, Magical Memory Tour, Goose River Bank, Nashville and Branson; his wife Shirley Forster; his daughters, Candy Monroe (Les) of Hillsboro, ND, Julie Flatland (Jeff) of Fargo, ND, Nancy Bollingberg (Eric) of Fessenden, ND and Jennifer Nysveen of Fargo, ND; and his grandchildren, Jonelle Thoene (Bryan) of Fordyce, NE, Jelsa Pallay (Ricky) of Fargo, ND, John Bollingberg (Katie Flaig) of Fessenden, ND, Signe Edison of Fargo, ND, Anneliese Nysveen of Fargo, ND and Anthony Nysveen of Baltimore, MD. He is also survived by five great-grandchildren.
