It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Veronica Ellouise Svihovec of Hettinger, North Dakota, who passed away on April 6, 2025, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Michael and Apolonia; her husband Delmar; her son Duane; her granddaughter Amy; and her siblings, John (Katherine), Tony (Gloria), Wanda (Preston), Thecla (Jim), Tom (Esther), Sophie (Walt), Agnes (Wayne), Herman, Bertha (Joe) and Elizabeth (Al).
She is survived by: her sister-in-law Lily Maliske; her nieces and nephews, Cyrisse Wietstock (Les), James Svihovec (Linda), Collette Kraft (Terry), Maureen Svihovec and Jolene Erickson (Dave); her grandchildren, Chentel Dangerud (Kayle), Nathan Svihovec (Abby), Tara Feil (Blake), Michaela Quast (Mike), Bethany Erickson and Kye Erickson (Michelle); and her great grandchildren, Ella, Jake Dangerud, Claire, Livia, Nicholas, Benjamin Feil, Eli, Collins Quast and Emmett Erickson. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.
A rosary was held on Saturday, April 12th 2025 at 9:30 AM at the Holy Trinity Catholic Church (405 3rd St N, Hettinger, ND 58639). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Saturday, April 12th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
