He was predeceased by: his parents, Phillip Erickson and Anna Erickson (Christman); his siblings, Phyllis, Joan, Phillip and Robert; his parents-in-law, Lowell and Muriel Seamands; and his siblings-in-law, Jay (Francie Seamands) and Bonnie Seamands.
He is survived by: his wife Joleen (Seamands); his children, David Erickson (Joey) and Dana Andress (Eric); his grandchildren, Bethany Erickson, Kye Erickson (Michelle), Alyssa Andress and Conner Andress; his great grandchild Emmett Erickson; his siblings, Judy Erickson and Jim Erickson (Elaine); his siblings-in-law, Jim Seamands (Carol), Jon Seamands (Alice), Jerel Seamands (Arlinda), Jerome, Gene, Jeff Seamands and Judi Markegard; and also Al Mosbrucker.
A memorial service was held on Sunday, February 2nd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Hettinger Lutheran Church (904 2nd Ave S, Hettinger, ND 58639).
In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to the Hettinger Lutheran Church Radio Room that Earl ran for many years or Hettinger Public School Stream Team that he watched in his later years when he was notable to attend events.
