It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Elmer Edward Lauf of Hazen, North Dakota, who passed away on April 27, 2021, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his son Brent; his brothers, Edward Lauf and Iver Lauf; and his brother-in-law Aaron Kellar. He is survived by: his wife Lucille Unterseher; his grandchildren, Mystics, Lakers, Flashes, Royals, Vikings, Justin Lauf (Sam Wise), Samantha Lauf of San Diego, CA, Kyley Lauf of Valley City, ND, Madison Lauf and Lincoln Roth; his great grandchildren, Bo Banks, Blakely Jo Lauf and Isaac Louis; his siblings, DeLora Kellar of Bismarck, ND and Emil Lauf of Beulah, ND; his sister-in-law Naomi Lauf of Bismarck, ND; and his daughter-in-law Allison Roth (Mark) of Minot, ND. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
