He was predeceased by: his parents, LeRoy Richards and Minnie Richards (Sommer); and his siblings, Eugene, Orrin Richards and Dorothy O'Marro.
He is survived by: his wife Eleanor Ricker of Hope; his children, LeRoy Richards (Cindy) of Hope, Dale Richards (Dawn) of Finley, Larry (Mandi) and Sherri Hashbarger (Craig) of Fargo, ND; and his siblings, Loren Richards of Chandler, AZ, Ella Kask (Herb) of Spring Park, MN and Norma Trost (Dean) of McVille, ND. He is also survived by seven grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
