Linda Erickson Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Linda Erickson of Hatton, North Dakota, born in Mayville, North Dakota, who passed away on November 9, 2020, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Nobell Pladson and Delores Pladson (Enger); her husband Lyle; and her sister Paula. She is survived by: her children, Todd Erickson (Lois) of Casselton, ND, Tom Erickson (Ann) of Hatton, ND, Tara Molling (Paul) of Onalaska, WI and Tiffany Moen (Corey) of Mayville, ND; her grandchildren, Shawn (Alyx), Alissa, Ashley, Bradley, Taylor, Tristan, Ali and Andrew; her great grandchild Ames; her sister-in-law Renae Gjellstad (Roger) of Stanley, ND; her nieces, Robin Thomas and Rhonda Peterson; and her nephew Ryan Gjellstad. She is also survived by aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Per current COVID guidelines, a private funeral will be held Friday, December 4, 2020 at 1:00 p. m. at St. John Lutheran Church in Hatton, ND.
Linda was blessed to be surrounded by so many great friends, family, and wonderful caregivers from Hatton Prairie Village in her long battle against Alzheimer'sDisease. We are extremely proud of her commitment to make a difference in the battle against alzheimers by participation in a Mayo Clinic research study and donation of her brain to get a clearer picture of the impact of this devastating disease.
