With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Dorothy Skjoiten of Hatton, North Dakota, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 1, 2024 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Melvin O. Bjerke and Wilhelmina Bjerke (Meldahl); her husband Glenn Skjoiten; her siblings, Kenneth Bjerke (Phyllis), Orvis Bjerke (Dorothy), James Bjerke (Jeanne), Ronald Bjerke (Sue), Mardelle (Marcus Naastad) and Jean Pederson (Monroe); and her siblings-in-law, Paul Skjoiten (Norma), Alton Larson and Ann Skjoiten.
She is survived by: her children, Gale Skjoiten (Barb) of Fargo, ND, Tim Skjoiten (Cindy) of Hatton, ND and Karen Euscher (Terry) of Gwinner, ND; her grandchildren, Kara Tidd (Casey), Greg Skjoiten and Laura Walker (Kevin); her children, Maren Askim (Justin), Andrea Rabenberg (Kirk), Peder Skjoiten (Melanie), Kirsten Daniels (Scott), Courtney Steichen (Anthony) and Kendra Lolland (Erik); and her siblings-in-law, Lynn Skjoiten and Mae Larson. She is also survived by twenty-two great grandchildren.
