He was predeceased by: his parents, Palmer Wamstad and Inez Wamstad (Ness); his brother Richard Wamstad; and his father-in-law Goodwin Owen. He is survived by: his wife Nicki of Hatton; his children, Kallie Naastad (Ben) of Hatton, Blake Wamstad (Jill) of Hatton and Haley Griffin (Chris) of Grand Forks; his grandchildren, Rylan, Brekyn Wamstad, Natalie, Noah Naastad, Brooklyn and Kinsley; his siblings, Dale Wamstad of Mayville and Tami Heid (Dave) of New Salem, ND; his brother-in-law Greg Owen of Hatton; his mother-in-law Darlene Owen of Mayville; his nephew Brent Heid of Grand Forks; and his niece Michele Burger of Thompson, ND..
