He is survived by: his daughter Helen Nygren (Ordean) of Bismarck, ND; his grandchildren, Andrew Nygren (Holly) of Bismarck, ND and Maren Gerhardt (Justin) of Mandan, ND; his great grandchildren, Monica Gerhardt, Malayna Gerhardt, Michael Gerhardt and Matthew Gerhardt; and his brother Alworth of Baton Rouge, LA. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
