It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Roger Vondal of Harvey, North Dakota, born in Cavalier, North Dakota, who passed away on January 16, 2022, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Adelord Vondal and Viola Vondal (Olson); his brother Rodney Vondal; and his sisters-in-law, Sharon Vondal and Maggie Vondal.
He is survived by: his wife Carol Lee Vondal; his children, Michelle Johnson (Dean) of Heimdal, Myndi Frey (Mark) of West Fargo, Laura Nelson (Matthew) of Hillsboro, Michael Vondal (Erica) of Parker, CO, Tina Mack (Jim) of Drake, Steven Vondal of Fargo, Zachery Johnson (Katie), Branden Johnson, Porter Johnson, Jadyn Frey, Ethan Frey, Henry Nelson, Benjamin Nelson, Emma Vondal, Madden Vondal, Mariah Mack and Jordan Mack; his great grandchild Paisley Johnson; and his siblings, Richard Vondal, Joan Hoffarth (Lloyd), Jim Vondal (Donna), Barb Christianson (Loren), Roxie Horsley (Allen), Valerie Gordon of Audubon, MN and Susan Danielson (Brian). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
