He was predeceased by: his parents, Norris Hovland and Borghild Hovland (Vik); his sister Cynthia Faul; and his brother-in-law Barry Dick. He is survived by: his daughter Melissa (Jay Sadowsky); his grandson Casey Schwaderer of Dickinson; his sister Lynne Dick of Harvey; his brother-in-law Gary Faul of Spanaway, WA; and his nephew David Davis. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews and their families; and his cousins.
