She was predeceased by: her parents, Helmuth Eckart and Mary Eckart; and her siblings, Alice Wade, Dorothy Dockter, Richard Eckert, Fran Arussell and Cleo Bender.
She is survived by: her husband Bud Michelson; her daughter Sandy Popp (Bill) of Milnor, ND; her grandchildren, Larissa Hoots (Nathan) of Tower City, ND and Joe Popp of Britton, SD; and her great grandchildren, Madelyn and Kinsley Hoots.
Visitation was held on Sunday, January 5th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Hertz Funeral Homes - Harvey (800 Birch Ave, Harvey, ND 58341). A prayer was held on Sunday, January 5th 2025 at 5:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Monday, January 6th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Martin Baptist Church (221 Herr Ave, Martin, ND 58758).
