With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Janice Nilsen of Hannaford, North Dakota, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 5, 2025 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Leth Anderson and Edna Anderson (Nelson); her son David; her siblings, Earl, Helen Ann Storhoff and Lois Ritter; and her brothers-in-law, Duane Plecity, Jerome Ritter and Howard Storhoff.
She is survived by: her husband Roger Nilsen; her children, Timothy Nilsen (Denise) of New Salem and Brenda Smargiassi (Tom) of Pearl City; her grandchildren, Danyal Kafer (Lucas), Heidi Avelsgard (Tanner), Monte Nilsen (LaiKyn), John Nilsen (Jenna), Bryant Smargiassi, Braden Smargiassi and Brock Smargiassi; her sister Elouise Nelson; and her sisters-in-law, Janice Plecity and Barbara Roberts (Curtis).
