She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Shiek and Hattie Shiek (Boyer); her daughter-in-law Sandy Hanson; and her granddaughter Connie Lende. She is survived by: her wife Bette; her children, Carol Hook (Richard), Sharon Lende (Jerry), Jerry Hanson and Mike Hanson (Irene); and also, Betty Shiek and Mary Shiek. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
