It is with great sadness that we announce the death of David Earl Nilsen of Hannaford, North Dakota, born in Valley City, North Dakota, who passed away on November 6, 2024, at the age of 62, leaving to mourn family and friends. He is survived by: his parents, Roger Nilsen and Janice Nilsen (Anderson) of Bismarck, ND; his son John (Jenna Braun); his grandchildren, Weston of Mohall and Whitney of Mohall; and his siblings, Timothy Nilsen (Denise) of New Salem, ND and Brenda Smargiassi (Tom) of Pearl City, IL. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A memorial service was held on Tuesday, November 12th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Quam-Plaisted-Cushman Funeral Home (802 Roberts Ave NW, Cooperstown, ND 58425).
