It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Philip Ambrose Herding of Hankinson, North Dakota, who passed away on November 21, 2023, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Anton Sr. Herding and Elizabeth Herding (Biewer); and his grandson Grant German. He is survived by: his wife Agatha Widhalm German of Philip's Catholic Church; his children, Dan Herding (Melanie), Tamara Ternes (Steven), Teresa Belanus (Jim), Tom German (Julie) of Pelican Rapids, MN and Anthony German (Sun Gum) of Chantilly, VA; and his nephew Russell Widhalm of Brookings, SD.. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
