He was predeceased by: his parents, Orin Vedder and Viola Vedder (Trittin); his father-in-law Clayton Johnson; and his brother-in-law John Gereszek. He is survived by: his children, Jennifer, Jason (Kayla) and Joey; his wife Belinda (Johnson); his granddaughters, Tatum, Tenley and Everly; his siblings, JoAnn Iliff (Carl) of Glencoe, Charlene Althoff (Arnie) of Hankinson, Lyle Vedder of Hankinson, Mark Vedder (Kim) of Hankinson and Renae Gereszek of Hankinson; his mother-in-law Carol Johnson of Wheaton; and his sisters-in-law, Colleen Fiala (Ken) of Lake Park, Pam Miller (Gary) of St. Cloud and Corinne Mueller (Loran) of Gackle. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
