She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Wallace Schmidt and Beatrice Schmidt (Holmstrom); her husband David Challey of Savior's Lutheran Church; her children, Tom Challey (Sarah Sanders) and Tarah Larson (David "Soup"); her grandchildren, Lincoln Challey and Emma Sanders; her siblings, Cathryn Schmidt and Craig Schmidt; and her mother-in-law Helen Challey.
In lieu of flowers, the family would like memorial donations to be made in Connie's name to Make-A-Wish Network as she always had a special place in her heart for children.
