He is survived by: his wife Linda Harpestad; his children, Stephanie Hartleben (Todd) of Bismarck, ND and Steve Simon (Kristin) of Hampden; his grandchildren, Chloe, Kenna, Brogan Lambrecht, Karsen and Parker Simon; his sisters, Karen Brekhus (Palmer) of Tolley, ND, Kathy Cromwell of Casper, WY and Linda Geisen (Larry) of Langdon, ND; and his siblings-in-law, Robert Harpestad Jr. (Sandy Miller) of Edmore, ND, Sheila Robertsdahl (Mark), Rick Harpestad (Naomi) of Mayville, ND and Tamara Clemetson (Rick) of Park River, ND. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
