He was predeceased by: his parents, Edwin Stern and Hilda Stern (Sailer); and his grandson Allen Stern. He is survived by: his wife Sandra Erdmann; his children, Gary, Sandy, Cory and Jenna; his grandchildren, Cory Jr. of Halliday, Khloe of Halliday, Jaelyn of Halliday and Kaylee of Halliday; his sister Sandy Stuhlmiller (Wayne) of Bismarck; his sisters-in-law, Arliene Scheurer (Gerald) of Golden Valley and Marlene Vastag (Duane) of Mandan; and his pets, Shogo and Sparky. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
