He was predeceased by: his parents, Verna Dean Ecker and Fredrick. He is survived by: his wife Myrna Franklund; his daughter Sara Eeg (Garner); his grandchildren, Marin (Merle Hoverson), Makenna, Aniya and Gavin; his son Dan Ecker (Mikaela); his granddaughters, Hailey and Addison; his aunt Joyce Bell (Sampel); his siblings, Perry Ecker (Sandy), Hal Ecker (Pegi) and Eileen Stubson (Wade); his siblings-in-law, Lorin Franklund (Emily), Mark Franklund (Maretta) and Lois Hanson; and his grandchildren, Brylee, Kasyn and Remi Mikesh. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Grandin Cemetery in Wes's memory.
