We are sad to announce that on March 23, 2023, at the age of 98, Neil I. MacFarlane (Grandin, North Dakota), born in Hillsboro, North Dakota passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Neil Sr. MacFarlane and Nellie MacFarlane (Fugate); his wife Joyce McCartney of Casselton, ND; his siblings, Roland, Winifred and Barbara MacFarlane Adsero; and his close friend JoAnne Erdmann.

He is survived by: his stepsons, Michael McCartney (Mary) of Wahpeton, ND and Bruce McCartney of West Fargo, ND; his cousin Douglas MacFarlane; his friend R. Donald Lockhart; and also Sandy McCartney.
