She was predeceased by: her grandchildren, Jamie Marcotte and Paul Luther; and her great grandchild Paul Bendrick. She is survived by: her husband Ovide; her children, Linda Steffen, Carol Luther (Gary Thomas), James Marcotte (Cheryl Wawryk), Wayne Marcotte (Kimberly), Vicky Evenstad (Dean), Terry Marcotte (Christine), Luchelle Luther (Joe), Candace Howard, Pamela Storey (Ernest), Thomas Marcotte (Angela Obregon) and Michael Marcotte (Katie); her brother Harvey Schneider (Karen); and her sister-in-law Theresa Marcotte (Gene). She is also survived by 31 grandchildren; 48 great-grandchildren; and 3 great-great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 1st 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Saturday, November 2nd 2024 at 12:00 PM. A vigil service was held on Friday, November 1st 2024 at 7:00 PM at the Historic Norman Funeral Home Chapel (2950 S Washington St, Grand Forks, ND 58201). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Saturday, November 2nd 2024 at 1:00 PM at the St. Michael's Catholic Church (524 5th Ave N, Grand Forks, ND 58203). A burial was held on Saturday, November 2nd 2024 at 3:00 PM at the Calvary North Cemetery (2950 S Washington St, Grand Forks, ND 58201).
