He was predeceased by: his parents, Michael John and Geraldine McKenna; and his sisters, Trudy (Leonard Nygaard), Beverly (Bruce Sundahl) and Babe (Terry Belzer).
He is survived by: his wife Mary Ann; his children, Tim (Kathleen), Maureen (Jose Estevez), Kathleen (Curtis Benally), Michael (Michele) and Colleen (Ralph Thomson); his grandchildren, Tim (BrieAnn), Joseph, Shannon, Christine, Anna, Daniel, Rose, Sean, Josiah and Kenzie; his great grandchildren, Emilie, Anthony, Gianna, Timothy and Emma; and also Charline. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
