Stewart A. Moore Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Stewart A. Moore of Grand Forks, North Dakota, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 1, 2025 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Stewart Moore and Elin Moore (Byron); his friend Barney Gothberg; his siblings, Martha Johnson (Gary), Judy Vigen (Nels) and Thomas Moore; his nephew Kevin Johnson; his in-laws, Mike and Augusta Austfjord; his siblings-in-law, Marcella Austfjord and Joe Austfjord (Jan); and his nephew Dennis "Squeak" O'Hara.
He is survived by: his wife Lois Moore; his son Mike Moore (Laura); his grandchildren, Chloe, Kai, Dax, Axl and Rex; his siblings, Alfred Moore (Theresa), Dorothy Robinson, Timothy Moore (Sylvia) and Susie Borgen (Ron); his siblings-in-law, Rose Moore, Helen Gibbens (Ron), Patsy VanVleet (Jim), Corrine Wilson, Mike Austfjord (Kathy) and Allen Austfjord (Bev); and his friend Lillian. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, April 10th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Friday, April 11th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A prayer was held on Thursday, April 10th 2025 from 6:30 PM to 7:00 PM at the Amundson Funeral Home Chapel (2975 S 42nd St, Grand Forks, ND 58201). A funeral service was held on Friday, April 11th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Sharon Lutheran Church (1720 S 20th St, Grand Forks, ND 58201).
