He was predeceased by: his parents, Herbert Young and Alta Young (Volkenant); his siblings, Richard Young, Franklin Young and Vera Soberg; and his siblings-in-law, Pete Soberg and Delores Young.
He is survived by: his brothers, Dick, Frank and Manufacturing; his spouse Millie Everson; his children, Jane Rodacker (Miles) of Grand Forks, Alan Young (Eileen) of Ypsilanti, Michigan, Larry Young (Kim) of Grand Forks, Tom Young (Lori) of Grand Forks and Dana Young (Kimberly) of Thompson, ND; his sister-in-law Vera Young of Edina, MN.; his grandchildren, Curran Gause (Martina Mlikota), Mindy O'Connor (Jay), Cory Rodacker (Sam), Melissande Deardurff (Greg), O'Neill Young, Spencer Young (Rebekah), Amber Mooney (Anthony), Morgan Young, Matt Meyer (Kim), Ashley Jacobson (Andrew), Seth Young (Joy), Bryce Young (Caroline) and Courtney Young; and his great grandchildren, Kennedy, Kellen, Chassidy, Haiden, Jakson, Rowan, Warrick, Seraphine, Lyriel, Marjorie, Esme, Beatrice, Iris, Gracie, Gretchen, Blake, Harrison, Calvin, Lewis, Lucy and William.
