It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Roger W. Parkinson (Grand Forks, North Dakota), leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Roger W. Parkinson to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Leonard Parkinson and Alvina Parkinson; his siblings, Barbara (Ronald Pumarlo) and Dennis; and his brother-in-law Roger Brekhus.
He is survived by: his wife Lois Brekhus (Brekhus); his children, Cary (Michelle), Chadwick (Ali) and Caela Slaathaug (Paul); his grandchildren, Adam, Ava, Eden, Zakary and Saige; his brother Rick (Joy); and his siblings-in-law, Jerry Brekhus (Betty) and Judy Brekhus. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 2nd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Amundson Funeral Home (2975 S 42nd St, Grand Forks, ND 58208). A prayer was held on Thursday, January 2nd 2025 from 6:30 PM to 7:30 PM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Zion United Methodist Church (1001 24th Ave S, Grand Forks, ND 58201).
