He was predeceased by: his parents, Leonard Parkinson and Alvina Parkinson; his siblings, Barbara (Ronald Pumarlo) and Dennis; and his brother-in-law Roger Brekhus.
He is survived by: his wife Lois Brekhus (Brekhus); his children, Cary (Michelle), Chadwick (Ali) and Caela Slaathaug (Paul); his grandchildren, Adam, Ava, Eden, Zakary and Saige; his brother Rick (Joy); and his siblings-in-law, Jerry Brekhus (Betty) and Judy Brekhus. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
