It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert James Litzinger of Grand Forks, North Dakota, born in Devils Lake, North Dakota, who passed away on January 24, 2024, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Bernard Litzinger and Mae Litzinger (Deitz); his former wife Lois Robertson of Michael's Catholic Church; and his son Steve Litzinger. He is survived by: his wife Janet Jackson of Michael's Catholic Church; his children, Randy Litzinger of Grand Forks, ND, Mary Kay Lane (Kreston) and Carol Erickson (Rod) of Grand Forks, ND; and his stepchildren, Roberta Celano (Geno) of Destin, FL, Wendy Kalenze (Steve) of Mary Esther, FL and Greg Jackson of Fargo, ND. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; 8 step-grandchildren and 3 step-great-grandchildren.
