He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Olmstead and Annabelle Olmstead; his brother Frank Olmstead; his in-laws, Doug and Marge Lealos; and his nephew Chris Hildre.

He is survived by: his wife Debbie (Lealos); his sons, Craig (Katie) and Grant (Tera); his grandchildren, Olivia, Avery, Issac, Rowan, Lillia, Lucas and Atley; his sisters, Laurie Santangelo (John) and Mary Hildre (Spencer); and his sisters-in-law, Sandy, Barb (Randy), Laurie and DJ (Dara).
