He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles E. Jechart and Grayce E. Jechart (Vary); his wife Susan Marie Johnson; his son Charles; and his siblings, Bruce and Eleanor Saure.
Visitation was held on Monday, April 14th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the Amundson Funeral Home (2975 S 42nd St, Grand Forks, ND 58208). A graveside service was held on Monday, April 14th 2025 from 2:30 PM to 3:00 PM at the Memorial Park South Cemetery (3002 S Washington St, Grand Forks, ND 58201).
