He is survived by: his wife Marge Steffen of Crookston, MN; his children, Amanda Uhlir (Trevor) and Sam Rystad; his sisters, Tami Moran (Mike) and Tonja Kemp (Adam); and his grandchildren, Rylan, Paisley and Aria.
