He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Gillespie and Lorna Gillespie (Ulsness); his aunt Dorothy Vangsness; and his pets, Molly, Rosie and Clarabelle.
He is survived by: his wife Lois Ridgway; his children, Vaughn Gillespie of Grand Forks, Steve Gillespie (Lyn) of Grand Forks and Laura Raymond (Jon) of Grand Forks; his grandchildren, Lisa Frize (Bo), Christine Hill (Justin), Aaron Gillespie, Meghan Gillespie, Dan Raymond, Will Raymond and Mark Raymond; his great grandchildren, Lucas Frize, Kate Frize, Lauren Frize and Hill; and his brother Chuck Gillespie (Marge). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 8th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the Amundson Funeral Home (2975 S 42nd St, Grand Forks, ND 58208).
