He was predeceased by: his parents, George Burris and Annie Burris (Krumpos); his son Tim; his grandsons, Josh and Zachary; and his siblings, Anne Marie Burris, Robert Burris, George Burris and Marvin Burris.
He is survived by: his wife Donna Jean Helgeson. He is also survived by his wife of 75 years, 27 grandchildren, 47 great-grandchildren and 9 great great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to Shriner's Hospital or St. Jude Children's Hospital.
