She was predeceased by: her parents, Leon Pierce and Bertha Pierce (Veenstra); her husband Howard George Schuett; and her siblings, Lewis, Lloyd, Lyle, Luetta Tregler and Lillian Hulst.

She is survived by: her daughter Kim; her son-in-law Curt Knutson of Fisher, MN; her grandchildren, Amy (Russell Shimek), Chad (Carmen Knutson), Kristen (Travis Schwarz) and Nicole (Josh Krostue); her great grandchildren, Annika, Ava, Autumn, Chandler, Clayton, Conley, Tristen, Harleigh, Riggin, Cortland, Chase, Camdyn, Carter and Callahan; her brother Robert; her sister-in-law Alice Pierce; and her pet Axel. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.

Memorials may be given in her name to Journey Home Animal Rescue, 2655 11th Avenue NE, Emerado, ND 58228.
