We are sad to announce that on April 3, 2025, at the age of 85, Lois D. Kolstad of Grand Forks, North Dakota passed away. She was predeceased by: her parents, Elmer Patterson and Elise Patterson (Olson); her husband Wayne Kolstad; and her siblings-in-law, Dorothy Patterson, Sherlyn Kolstad, Rosilyn Kolstad, Gary Kolstad and Jack Potucek.
She is survived by: her children, Kirk Kolstad, Edward Kolstad, Stanley Kolstad, Carleen Porten, Eleanor Stone and Darlene "Dari" Kolstad; her grandchildren, Kaitlin, Krista, James and Candice; and her siblings, David Patterson, Deryl Patterson (Kathy) and Lorraine Sorenson (Jerome). She is also survived by 6 great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 8th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Amundson Funeral Home (2975 S 42nd St, Grand Forks, ND 58208). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, April 9th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the First Lutheran Church (203 5th St NW, East Grand Forks, MN 56721).
