With profound sadness, we say goodbye to LaVonne M. Johnson (Grand Forks, North Dakota), whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. LaVonne left this world on December 17, 2024 at the age of 87, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. She was predeceased by: her parents, Martin Jenson and Alice Jenson (Evenstad); her husband Alfred Johnson; and her brother Ronald Jenson of Moorhead, MN.. She is survived by: her children, Ken (Trish) of Oregon, WI, Carol of Ankeny, IA, Keith (Kari) and Christy (Garrett) of Chandler, AZ.; and her sister Marlene Johnson (Ron). She is also survived by eight grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, December 27th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Amundson Funeral Home (2975 S 42nd St, Grand Forks, ND 58208). A funeral service will be held on Friday, December 27th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, December 27th 2024 at the Memorial Park South Cemetery (3002 S Washington St, Grand Forks, ND 58201).
In lieu of flowers, memorials are asked to be directed to Valley Senior Living Foundation.
