With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Josephine R. Deitz of Grand Forks, North Dakota, who passed away on December 6, 2024 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Conrad Elter and Catherine Elter (Bohl); her husband Ed Deitz; her son Richard; her grandson Jonathan; and her siblings, Betty, Helen and Herb.
She is survived by: her children, Patty Leighton (Michael) of Grafton, ND, Mike Deitz (Jo Deitz) of Fort Collins, CO, James Deitz (Ann Marie) of Turlock, CA, Elizabeth Armstrong of Jacksonville, FL, Julie Tilka of Minneapolis, MN and Teresa Cresap (Keith) of The Villages, FL; and her sisters, Rose Schmidt, Rita Schmidt and Teresa Tokash. She is also survived by 16 grandchildren; 18. 5 great grandchildren.
