We bid farewell to Joseph F. Zahradka of Grand Forks, North Dakota, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on December 8, 2024 at the age of 81. Joseph touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, William J. Zahradka and Hannah Zahradka (Courtney); and his siblings, Bill (Shirley), Jim (Becky) and Colleen.
He is survived by: his wife Bobbi; his children, Tawnja Peterson (Paul) and Travis (Katie); his grandchildren, Madisyn, Tyler and Hayley Zahradka; his great grandchildren, Lilly and Apollo; and his sister Marge Jallo of Devils Lake, ND. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, December 16th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Michigan Lutheran Church (421 Broadway, Michigan, ND 58259). A prayer was held on Monday, December 16th 2024 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Tuesday, December 17th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions to the Dr. Buck Zahradka Memorial Scholarship Endowment which may be made through the UND Foundation, the Kosobud Cemetery or to a charity of your choice.
