He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Howard and Mary Howard (Barber); his daughter Sherry; and his grandsons, Michael Peterson and Matthew Howard.
He is survived by: his children, Diana Kunz (Gary), Jim Howard (Tammy), Cindy Ibes (Galen), Marlyce Peterson, Valerie Peterson, Shelly Bondy (Roger) and Brenda Peterson; and his siblings, Norma, Agnes, Bobbi and Tommy. He is also survived by 18 Grandchildren and 27 Great Grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the Veterans Honor Flight of ND/MN, C/O Don Roberts 815 Duke Dr. Apt 206, Grand Forks, ND 58201.
