He was predeceased by: his parents, Joe C Hootman and Margaret Mae Hootman (McHatton); and his wives, Rosalie and LaVonne Russell (Kleven). He is survived by: his sister Marg Coker-Nelson; his children, Joe Hootman and Janine Wilke; his stepson Erik Russell; and his grandchildren, Samuel Hootman, Susannah Trunick (Hootman), Sarah Hootman (Sadie), Austin Wilke, Rowan Hootman and Noah Wilke.
