We are sad to announce that on March 6, 2025, at the age of 46, Janna Marie Schill in Grand Forks, North Dakota, born in Ellendale, North Dakota passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Janna Marie Schill to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her mother Elaine Goll (Sattler); and her grandparents, Edwin, Florence Goll, Frank and Ramona Sattler.
She is survived by: her husband Mark Schill; her children, Megan, Claire and Michael Schill; her father Jerry Goll of Walker, Minn.; her sisters, Jeanette Haugen (Brent) of Harwood, N. D. and JoDee Bjella (Blaine) of Mesa, Ariz.; her parents-in-law, Ken and Mary Jo Schill of Grand Forks, N. D.; her brothers-in-law, Dan Schill (Jessica) of Harrisonburg and Matt Schill (Shawna) of Grand Forks, N. D.; and her nieces and nephews, Brady, Blake, Brandon Bjella, Elaina Haugen, Ellie and Bennett Schill.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, March 12th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Thursday, March 13th 2025 at 1:00 PM. A celebration of life was held on Wednesday, March 12th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the Amundson Funeral Home (2975 S 42nd St, Grand Forks, ND 58208). A Mass was held on Thursday, March 13th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the St. Mary's Catholic Church (216 Belmont Rd, Grand Forks, ND 58201).
In lieu of flowers, cash donations will be used for a memorial sponsorship at the new Grand Forks aquatics facility.
