He was predeceased by : his parents, Leif Stottrup and Ruth Stottrup (Holiday). He is survived by : his wife Carol of Emerado, ND; his daughter Jenny Gunderson of Arizona; his siblings, Sonja Enger of Cloquet, MN and Howard Stottrup; his sister-in-law Virginia Stottrup; his nephews, Nathan and Jason Stottrup of Cloquet, MN; his cousin Cheryl Moen (Tom) of North Dakota; his stepdaughter Tina Forte (Dave Wall); his grandsons, Gavin and Griffin Forte of Long Island, NY; and his stepson Johnny Reidy (Sherry Aarnes) of Grand Forks, ND.. He is also survived by his loving family members and friends.

Visitation was held on Thursday, July 11th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Amundson Funeral Home (2975 S 42nd St, Grand Forks, ND 58208). A memorial service was held on Thursday, July 11th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
