She was predeceased by: her parents, Valentine Bishop and Julianna Bishop (Byzewski); her husband Wallace Meiers; her siblings, Rose Slominski, Frieda Walski, Helen Slawinski, Marie Bougie and John Bishop; and her granddaughters, Julianna Leddige and Shya Benson.
She is survived by: her daughters, Sherlyn Meiers and Cleone Benson. She is also survived by Nine great grandchildren, one great-great grandchild, and many nieces and nephews.
