With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Henry Korczak of Grand Forks, North Dakota, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 29, 2024 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Anton Korczak and Victoria Korczak (Marynik). He is survived by: his wife Janice Riske of John's Catholic Church; his children, Darryl Korczak (Melanie) of Bismarck, ND, Delrae of Mesa, AZ and Danelle of Littleton, CO; his brother Gregory Korczak (Genevieve); his grandchildren, Derek, Mariah Hassebrock (Korczak) and Kirklan; and his great grandchildren, Amelia, Arielle, Owen and Adalynn.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, December 3rd 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Wednesday, December 4th 2024 at 10:00 AM. A rosary was held on Tuesday, December 3rd 2024 at 6:30 PM at the Historic Norman Funeral Home Chapel (2950 S Washington St, Grand Forks, ND 58201). A vigil service was held on Tuesday, December 3rd 2024 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Wednesday, December 4th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Holy Family Catholic Church (1018 18th Ave S, Grand Forks, ND 58201). A burial was held on Wednesday, December 4th 2024 at 2:15 PM at the St. Stanislaus Catholic Cemetery.
