He was predeceased by: his parents, John Vold and Bernice Vold (Hogstad); his wife Eunice; and his siblings, Joe, Paul, Connie Strand and Lois Justus.
He is survived by: his children, Marie Liberda (Steve) of Stillwater, MN, Bob Vold (Cathy) of Minnetrista, MN and Bruce Vold (Anne) of Hatton, ND; his grandchildren, Nathan Gossai (Krista), Chandra Martin (Dave), Bryan Vold, Matthew Vold (Victoria), Annie Vold, Kenzie Vold and Kelly Odden (Jordan); and his great grandchildren, Annika, Maren, Clara, Brita Gossai, Charlie, Maggie Martin, Halle, Luke and Becker Odden. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins.
