He was predeceased by: his parents, Otto Moen and Vivian Moen; his brothers, Robert and James (Butch); and his granddaughter Amanda Johanneck.
He is survived by: his former wife Helen Stiles; his children, Lee Moen (Michelle) of Ballwin, MO, Marlin Moen of Inkster, ND, Jodi Johanneck (Dan) of Crookston, MN and Chad Moen (Mary) of Fargo, ND; his grandchildren, Alec Moen (Frannie), Brett Moen (Amy), Andrew Moen, Sean Moen, Michael Moen, Matt Moen (Lani), Jake Moen (Holly), Luke Moen (Madison Karaba), Staci Collison (Michael), Nathan Johanneck, Leah Johanneck, Ben Moen and Abby Moen; and his sister Sandra Hawthorne (Dave). He is also survived by ten great-grandchildren.
